Getting Started with MyDayLogs
Complete setup guide from account creation to first report submission
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Visit mydaylogs.co.uk and click "Get Started Free"
- Enter your organization name, email, and password
- Check your email for verification link
- Click the link and log in to your dashboard
Step 2: Add Your First Team Members
- Go to Admin Dashboard → Team Management
- Click "Add Team Member"
- Enter their email and select role (Staff/Manager/Admin)
- They'll receive an invitation email with login instructions
- Starter plan includes 5 users - upgrade for more
Step 3: Create Your First Template
- Go to Manager Dashboard → Templates
- Click "Create New Template"
- Give it a name (e.g., "Daily Site Inspection")
- Add fields: text, photos, checkboxes, etc.
- Mark required fields with asterisk (*)
- Click "Save & Publish"
Step 4: Assign Tasks to Your Team
- Go to Assignments → Create New Assignment
- Select a template
- Choose team members to assign to
- Set due date (optional)
- Add instructions if needed
- Click "Send Assignment"
- Team members receive email notification
Step 5: Submit Your First Report
- Staff member logs in and goes to Dashboard
- Click on assigned checklist
- Fill in all required fields (marked with *)
- Upload photos if needed (recommended)
- Review before submission
- Click "Submit Report"
- Confirmation appears on screen
- Manager receives email notification
- PDF is automatically generated and stored
Next Steps
- View Reports: Go to Admin Dashboard → Reports & Analytics to see all submissions
- Download PDFs: Click on any report to view and download professional PDF
- Track Progress: Use Dashboard to monitor pending assignments and completion rates
- Manage Quotas: Starter: 50 reports lifetime. Upgrade to Growth (250) or Scale (500) for more
- Invite More Users: Add managers to delegate template creation and task assignment
